Valentine

Forever Valentine

Do you come from a fable or heaven at sunrise?
Are you a savior or an angel in disguise?
Jewel in the Crown or a pearl of dew,
Desire insatiable or the shining sky blue?

Are you Alice from Wonderland or a mystic dove?
Am I living a dream or drowned in the ocean of love?
Eyes pristine and touch so mellow,
Yes, we have, we’ve met before. Hello!

Laying for you is my heart, beating hard,
On a frozen vigil in a vivid orchard,
Yearning for thee, but can you see?
Wish to tread or embrace instead?

Memories to cherish, to hold them dear,
Gracious and precious, a reason to cheer,
Engraved so deep, so grand, such splendor,
Entrances my soul in tender surrender.

Will you be willing to share my pain,
Rising and splicing from the memory lane,
Take it or leave it or just lose it in vain,
I wonder if my love is worth total disdain.

My feelings are pure, my love is true,
My heart is clean, my soul serene,
Humbled and kneeled, here I am at your shrine,
Hate it or love it, but you are my Forever Valentine.
